Gloria Orji-Emodi best known as FabulosGloria is one of the most-prominent voices in the South Eastern airwaves.
Currently working as the Head of News and Current Affairs department in 92.5 Enugu’s DreamFm, FabulosGloria’s career in the media spans over 12 years haven worked in four media houses to date.
She is also a well-known media consultant in the South East being the CEO of Sapphire Advertising, an advertising, branding and PR company she founded in 2008.
FabulosGloria is probably best known for her sonorous and well tenured/pitched voice which many have said is one of the best in the country. She is extremely articulate and eloquent with an ability to drive home every message in her presentations on or away from the microphone. Her charming and highly amiable personality on-air has endeared her to many.
Her program People’s Forum (5-6pm weekdays) on dreamFm deals with all topical issues from politics to health, finance, marriage, lifestyle, religion etc allowing people to air their views on prevalent matters concerning them.
She is also a staple on Saturday mornings with the show #SaturdayMorningDrive (6-11am) which is purely an entertainment and lifestyle show. Perhaps her most known program yet is called #OneNigeria show aka #NgwoNgwoParliament where she plays the delectably refined “Madam Secretary”
FabulosGloria is an internationally trained broadcaster/journalist haven mastered the art of communication. She has been trained by (and worked with) the Financial Times London, The BBC, Radio Netherlands (RNTC), InterNews agency, Service Accord and Voice Initiative (SAVI) Nigeria, Action-Aid Nigeria and so many other top media organisations.
She is also a media content developer and producer, an exceptional compare/MC, brand influencer, voice-over artist, actress, gifted sound engineer, well-known philanthropist who has empowered many through her #GiveBackProject initiative, advocate and humanitarian
She is also a well-known public speaker and a trainer on public speaking. She is a seasoned, experienced and successful communications/media trainer, haven trained many individuals and firms, including CEOs in the corporate world.
FabulosGloria is a successful wife and mum
Born Gloria Nnenna Orji on January 12th 1983 in Abiriba, Ohafia local government area of Abia State, FabulosGloria is the first of two daughters born to Kalu and Nnenna Orji.
She grew up in Enugu, Nigeria where she attended Ekulu Primary School and Police Childrens’ school. Her secondary education started at Ecumenical Seconday School, Thinkers Corner, Enugu where she took her junior WAEC (West African Examination Council) while the senior secondary was at Command day secondary school where she graduated with an exceptional senor (WAEC) result in 1999.
From there she attended Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna state where she gained a second class upper degree in Biochemistry.

FabulosGloria had her first taste of media exposure at the age of 8 when she featured in a then prominent children’s program called Junior Opinion on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Enugu. She was immediately known as the shining star on the show following her eloquence, articulacy and exceptional communication skills. She wowed audiences with her intonation and featured on the show toll she was 12 years old.
Her next encounter with the media came after attending a Christmas Party at the now defunct Cosmo fm in Enugu in 2004 where she attracted the attention of the head of Station Jika Attoh who immediately noticed her unique voice. She was immediately offered appointment to a job in the radio station though haven not read mass communication or a related course. She was only armed with a good voice, a ready-to-learn spirit, humility and dedication to work.
While working at CosmoFm, she underwent a financial reporting training by the Financial Times London in association with the BBC that lasted 18months. This certified her as a financial reporter. She was also trained by the BBC on health reporting especially on HIV/AIDS awareness/reporting as well as adolescent reproductive health.
While in Cosmo fm, she was stationed in the news room as a news anchor and reporter while presenting other entertainment programs like “This Weekend”, “OffCampus” and the friend finders program “Where Are You”
In 2007, she left Cosmo Fm to start up her media firm, Sapphire Advertising, which at the time was one of the few that existed. Her firm till date has worked with both South Eastern brands like Henrich Comouter, Nike Lake Hotel, Golden Toast and many others as well as national brands like GoTv, ACTv, DiamondBank, Etisalat, Pandora Jewelries etc
While working on her own, she took up a contract job with Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State BCA radio in 2008 which for a year, she handled two of the stations weekend programs.
In 2009, she joined the Daar Communications pioneer team to power-up in Enugu. She worked in Raypower/AIT as the head of programs till 2012 when she joined DreamFm Enugu as the Head of the News department.
In April 2016, she travelled for a self-sponsored training with the Radio Netherlands Training Center majoring in Investigative Journalism.
In 2010, FabulosGloria wrote, directed and produced a critically acclaimed and international award winning radio drama called “Just My Luck” (all 13 episodes are Uploaded on this site). The radio drama was created to raise awareness on the negative effect of torture while educating stakeholders (especially security agencies) on better means of interrogation
In 2012, she joined Olisa Adibua (Beatfm) and Spaceman (Rhythm Port Harcourt) as a judge in the Glo Nija Sings (Eastern Zone)
In 2014, The #GiveBackProject was born. This initiative was a means for the OAP to give back to the society. She started by giving out N50,000 on air quarterly to her listeners. The audience were meant to send her a business plan/proposal touting a viable business the money could start up. Her beneficiaries included Ifeanyi Nwodo who won the first edition, using the money to set up a barbers shop.
Her second winner, Elizabeth John Kalu from Anambra started up a confectionary kiosk with her winning. Another winner, pastor Paul Udu, got cash to start up a farm in his village in Enugu State
In 2015, The #GiveBackProject spent over half a million naira distributing school bags, shoes and books to impoverished and poorly funded nursery and primary schools in Abakpa Nike, Enugu, Nigeria
In 2016, The #GiveBackProject donated food items and cash to the old peoples home in Enugu
In 2017, she was selected as number 4 in the top 20 Nigerian Radio Queens
In 2015, she starred as a gynecologist in the critically acclaimed and award winning Igbo movie titled “B is For Boy”. The movie which premiered in the US/Canada aimed to portray how far women in Igbo land would go to have a male child.
On February 5th, 2017, She launched this site www.fabulosgloria.com, a lifestyle website that focuses on things she experiences both in the South East (her current base) and around the world. It features the people she encounters in her career (and beyond) as well as fashion, food, entertainment, hotpots, events and so on. The site is fast becoming one of the most read in the South East and beyond.
It goes without saying that, with her great voice, articulation, eloquence, graceful and captivating persona, FabulosGloria attracts a huge audience when she speaks outside radio. She speaks mostly on human development and empowerment issues especially as regards media, PR, advertising and marketing, girl child and feminine matters, as well as family and marriage topics.

FabulosGloria has been married since 2011 to Engr Onyinye Kenechukwu Emodi. She is a mother to two beautiful children: Somkenechukwu Emodi #SomkayDaLittleDiva (March 2012) and Genesis Obinna Emodi #BabyGenesis (Oct 2016).
